The 26th Annual Energy Fair June 19-21, 2015 - Custer, WI

Each year the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) hosts The Energy Fair, transforming rural Central Wisconsin into the hot spot for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living education. The Energy Fair brings over 15,000 attendees together to learn the latest and greatest in clean energy and sustainability, connect with others, and take action towards a more sustainable future. The Energy Fair is the nation's longest running energy education event of its kind.

The Energy Fair features:

  • Over 200 exhibitors - sustainable living and clean energy products
  • Over 200 workshops - beginner to advanced hands-on education
  • Clean Transportation Show - featuring exhibitors, vehicles and demos
  • Green Building Demos - sustainable building techniques in action
  • Food and Chef Demos - bring sustainability to your dinner table
  • Inspirational keynotes, lively entertainment, great food, and local beer

"This was my first Energy Fair and it felt like home. What an amazing group of renewable energy veterans! This is the group that built this industry and it is their spirit of industry, invention, responsibility, and determination that has brought solar power to where it is today. Maintaining this ethos as the industry grows is the opportunity and challenge for our generation and I believe we will do those who came before us right. Toward a Brighter Future!" - Mosaic, 2014 Energy Fair Exhibitor

The Entertainment Lineup

The Mustache - Friday, 7:00 p.m. - Main Stage

The Mustache

Kicking off the evening entertainment with Wisconsin's finest funk/dance party band, The Mustache! In a time where live music has been dominated by mainstream labels, new technology, and worst of all, hairless upper lips, The Mustache has kept strong roots in classic and contemporary funk music. Ideal for flourishing a thick and bushy, party atmosphere. The band also exudes a satirical sense of humor in a Spinal Tap-esque fashion with comical characters and stage antics.

David Stokes & The Frog Chorus - Saturday, 3:00 p.m. - Main Stage

David Stokes

See and touch live frogs at this Fabulous Frog mid-day treat! Great for all ages to interact with and learn about our local Wisconsin Amphibians. They'll even croak out a tune or two.

Norm Dombrowski's Happy Notes - Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - Main Stage

Happynotes Polka

Rise and Shine, It's Polka Time! Celebrate Father's Day at The Energy Fair with a full Organic Valley breakfast and a polka dance with dad! Kids bring your dads and they'll get in FREE on Father's Day!
