Travel by Bus

The MREA works with partners to offer mass transit to The Energy Fair. There are long-distance buses available from Milwaukee, and Madison, Wisconsin.

Travel by Rail

Amtrak comes as close as Portage, Wisconsin (about a 1.5 hour trip from Custer). They also provide a motor coach from Milwaukee to Wausau. Call 800-USA-RAIL or visit www.amtrak.com for more information.

Travel by Rideshare

For those interested in a RideShare, we recommend Wisconsin's RIDESHARE program. Wisconsin's RIDESHARE program brings commuters together and is a free service provided by the State of Wisconsin. RIDESHARE serves all of Wisconsin and the bordering counties in other states (IA, IL, MI, MN). Registration through the site is free, it also offers Facebook integration as well as downloadable applications for those who don't have email.

Willy Street Co-Op is also planning a rideshare to The Energy Fair. Owners of the Willy Street Co-Op can find more details at their online forum.

Travel by Local Shuttle

Every hour, starting on the hour, we have a free Local Shuttle going en route to The Energy Fair from the following locations in Stevens Point and Plover, Wisconsin.

Shuttle Hours:

Friday and Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. last call back to Stevens Point and Plover
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.
