Site Description: 

The Mead Education & Visitor Center is the Wisconsin's first publicly-owned LEED-Platinum rated green building. It features 5 different kinds of Renewable Energy systems: Wind, Solar PV, Geothermal, Solar Hot water & Wood Biomass. It is located 7 miles north of US 10 on Co. Hwy S, about 25 miles northwest of Stevens Point.
