Do you think environmental education is a worthwhile investment? We do too!!
If you or someone you know is an employee of the state of Wisconsin, please consider participating in the 2016 State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC). The campaign allows state employees to give to participating charities of their choice through a direct payroll deduction, cash, check, or credit card. Please consider making a contribution to MREA’s environmental education programs via the SECC. You can find us under the Wisconsin Environmental Education Foundation umbrella in the campaign booklet available online at https://giving.wi.gov/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/book_2016.pdf (page 11).
How does it work?
Each state agency employee will get an email from their local agency contact outlining their options on how to give and providing an initial password to donate online. Once pledges are made and processed by the central campaign offices (in Dane County, Milwaukee, and general statewide region), WEEF will begin receiving reports on pledge estimates for our umbrella and its members.
The State Employees Combined Campaign, and workplace giving in general, is one of the most effective and efficient fund-raising tools for non-profits. In fact, the Wisconsin Environmental Education Foundation covers all administrative costs for its members so that 100% of the dollars you pledge will support our work. With more than 400 non-profits to choose from in all, it’s a great way to support all the organizations you care about with just one “click.” For MREA supporters, the campaign is an easy and meaningful way to invest in environmental education and MREA. Thank you for your support of MREA and the State Employees Combined Campaign!
If you aren’t a state employee, you can still give! Go to www.wisconsineefoundation.org or call 715-346-3604 for more information.
