As part of our Wisconsin Solar Corps initiative, we are working to advance 10 high-impact/high-visibility solar installations on non-profit organizations assisting underserved populations and schools. The utility savings from the PV systems installed on these organizations will help free-up funds to advance their missions.

CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION
- Must be 501(c)(3) non-profit organization or school
- Must be located within Wisconsin
- Must serve low income or underrepresented groups
- Site must be suitable for solar
- Solar installation must be completed by August 31, 2020
PARTICIPANT BENEFITS
- Free Site Assessment by a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional
- $2,000 matching grant
- Unique Case Statement and assistance fundraising for remaining funding
- RENEW Wisconsin’s Solar for Good module donation program application
- MREA’s Solar on Schools module donation program application
- Unique Case Study highlighting project upon completion
- Assistance organizing, promoting, and hosting Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
- Long-term energy bill savings
PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with MREA and Partners to:
- Source $2,000 in donations to cover remaining project costs
- Provide positive work-site atmosphere
- Apply for module donation through Solar on Schools or Solar for Good programs
- Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
