As the Marshfield Clinic Health System AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator serving the MREA, Taylor plans on assisting the organization by participating in capacity building through her commitment of recruiting and retaining our booming demand for volunteers who value sustainability just like her! She first discovered The Energy Fair in 2016 and knew she had to get involved. In 2018, she finally had the chance to attend the Fair as a hardcore volunteer, which then developed her desire to join the staff!
Taylor will earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business, as well as a minor in Environmental Studies, and finally, a Second Language Speaking Proficiency Certificate in Chinese in December of 2018 from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She hopes to work in the renewable energy field as she enthusiastically advocates for sustainability and taking care of our planet. When Taylor isn’t busy, she like reading, plogging (a combo of jogging and collecting trash, inspired by the Swedish term plocka upp, meaning ‘to pick up’), “attempting” new languages, and traveling around the world.
