Virtual Volunteer Opportunities
Though we are living in unprecedented times, the MREA has continued to operate group buys, training programs, and renewable energy education initiatives. We have developed a couple of different ways in which folks can volunteer from the comfort and safety of their home.
Posting Material for Social Media
Is sharing things on Facebook really volunteering? Yes! It helps spread the word about the programs and services we offer and it helps educate your friends and followers about what exactly the Midwest Renewable Energy Association is. You can find some of our current content on the right. If you would like to receive ongoing posting material via email, you can shoot us an email and we’ll get you on the list!
YouTube Volunteer Team
In the spirit of virtual volunteering, we created a new volunteer position! For those interested in the YouTube platform, we offer a skilled volunteer position that may include helping produce videos, YouTube data analytic research, and more! If you’re interested in building your resume and helping produce content for our audience, this is the opportunity for you!
Email for more information.

Volunteer Task Forces
If you’d like to volunteer for MREA beyond events like The Energy Fair and our biannual Volunteer Work Days, we are developing a local team of volunteers eager to help throughout the year. If you live in Central Wisconsin and interested in joining our Volunteer 365 Team, please email . Volunteer 12+ hours and you will be able to claim a vintage Hardcore volunteer shirt. Please note that sizes and years are limited.
