(W 101) Intro Wind Energy Systems
This eight-hour course teaches the basics of wind electric systems. Participants will learn how to define classes and types of wind energy systems and understand how they work to produce electricity. This course will provide a basis for making informed decisions about the design, size, and type of system that may be ideal for some situations but not well suited for others.
Students can work through recorded presentations and exercises at their own pace. When the coursework is finished, a completion certificate is issued.
This course is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services (DSPS) for 4.0 Credit Hours for the following licenses:
