Participants in this 2-day course receive hands-on training and will install a roof-mounted PV system. Students will identify layout considerations, component specifications, mechanical integration best practices, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements related to the system. Voltage, current, and power calculations in the NEC will be covered in depth.

This training takes place at our headquarters in Custer, WI. Designated as one of Wisconsin’s first Travel Green Destinations, our campus is a 4,200-square-foot building that generates 100% of our electricity needs through renewable energy systems., and incorporates energy-efficient features, including passive solar design, energy-efficient light fixtures, solar hot air, roof- and ground-mounted solar PV arrays, in-floor radiant heat, timber framed lobby, masonry heater, and much more.
